Yes. Texas has well-established telemedicine laws under Texas Occupations Code §111. Licensed physicians like Dr. Goel can provide telehealth services to patients anywhere in Texas via audio-video consultations, including prescribing medications and ordering labs.
Yes. The DEA has extended telehealth flexibilities through December 31, 2026, allowing controlled substance prescribing (Schedule II and above) via audio-video consultation without requiring an in-person visit for new patients. For chronic pain management involving controlled substances, Texas law requires an in-person visit within 90 days. Dr. Goel follows all state and federal guidelines.
No. Your initial consultation can be completed entirely via telehealth. We’ll send lab orders to a Quest or Labcorp location near you, and your first video visit happens from the comfort of your home. San Antonio patients are welcome to visit our Huebner Road clinic in person if they prefer.
Absolutely. We partner with Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp, both of which have hundreds of draw sites across Texas. Whether you’re in Houston, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, or a small town in between, there’s a lab location near you. Mobile phlebotomy is also available in many areas.
Prime Vitality is a private-pay practice and does not currently accept Medicaid or Medicare. However, our pricing is transparent and competitive, and many patients find our direct-care model provides better access, shorter wait times, and more personalized care than insurance-based practices. We can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
We serve all of Texas virtually. Our most common patient cities include San Antonio (where our clinic is located), Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, McAllen/RGV, Lubbock, and Amarillo. If you live in Texas, we can see you via telehealth.
Yes. San Antonio patients enjoy a hybrid model — initial visits and procedures in our clinic at 10007 Huebner Rd, with follow-ups via telehealth. Many patients across Texas also fly in for occasional in-person visits and handle routine care virtually.
Dr. Goel can send prescriptions electronically to any Texas pharmacy of your choice — CVS, Walgreens, H-E-B, or your local independent pharmacy. For specialty compounds and peptides, we work with trusted compounding pharmacies that ship directly to your door anywhere in Texas.
