Beyond the Annual Exam

What Is Advanced Preventive Screening?

A comprehensive, physician-led wellness evaluation that goes far beyond the standard annual physical. While most doctors check 8–10 basic markers, Dr. Goel's advanced panels test 40+ biomarkers — catching disease patterns 5–10 years before symptoms ever appear.

This isn't about checking boxes for insurance. It's about analyzing trends, identifying declining patterns, and building a personalized prevention strategy around your biology.

  • Heart disease — women's #1 killer, often missed
  • Cancer screening & genetic risk assessment
  • Metabolic syndrome & prediabetes detection
  • Autoimmune markers & hormone decline
  • Bone health & cognitive health

☆ Physician-Led, Not Algorithm-Driven

Dr. Goel personally interprets every single lab result. No computer algorithm, no portal message — a real conversation about what your numbers mean and what to do about them.

Comprehensive Panels

What We Screen For

Six targeted panels that give you a complete picture of your health — not just a snapshot, but a roadmap to longevity.

Comprehensive metabolic lab panel

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

Blood sugar, fasting insulin, HbA1c, full lipid panel, liver enzymes, kidney function, and inflammatory markers like hs-CRP. The foundation of metabolic health.

Hormone health assessment

Hormone Health Panel

Full hormone assessment including thyroid (TSH, Free T3, Free T4, antibodies), adrenal function (cortisol, DHEA), and sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone).

Cardiovascular risk assessment

Cardiovascular Risk Assessment

Advanced lipids, apolipoprotein B (apoB), Lp(a), hs-CRP, homocysteine, and lipoprotein fractionation. Heart disease presents differently in women — we screen accordingly.

Cancer screening coordination

Cancer Screening Coordination

Pap smear, HPV testing, clinical breast exam referrals, CA-125 monitoring, and genetic risk assessment. Coordinated screening that doesn't fall through the cracks.

Bone density and joint health screening

Bone Density & Joint Health

DEXA scan referrals, Vitamin D (25-OH), calcium, magnesium, and bone turnover markers. Critical for women approaching and past menopause.

Autoimmune and inflammation panel

Autoimmune & Inflammation Panel

ANA, thyroid antibodies (TPO, TG), inflammatory markers (ESR, CRP), and food sensitivity testing. Women are 2–3x more likely to develop autoimmune conditions.

The Prime Vitality Difference

Why Our Screenings Are Different

Most annual physicals test the bare minimum. We test what actually matters — and we don't stop at the results.

40+ Biomarkers vs. Standard 10

We test what matters, not what insurance dictates. Our panels include advanced markers like apoB, Lp(a), fasting insulin, and thyroid antibodies that most clinics never order.

Physician-Interpreted Results

Dr. Goel personally reviews every lab panel. Not a nurse practitioner, not a computer algorithm — a triple board-certified physician who explains what your numbers mean.

Year-Over-Year Trend Tracking

A single lab is a snapshot. We track trends over time, revealing declining patterns before they become a crisis. Your cholesterol went up 15% in a year? We catch that.

Actionable Prevention Roadmaps

Every screening includes a personalized optimization plan — nutrition guidance, supplement recommendations, follow-up schedule, and lifestyle modifications tailored to you.

"A routine physical never would have caught my severely low Vitamin D and elevated hs-CRP. Dr. Goel connected the dots to cardiovascular inflammation risk. Now my markers are optimal and my heart risk has dropped significantly."

Vit D: 12→62 ng/mL
hs-CRP: 4.2→0.8 mg/L

Results may vary. Individual outcomes depend on baseline health, lifestyle factors, and adherence to the recommended prevention plan.

Patient Spotlight
"I felt fine. I exercised, ate well, and my corporate physical came back 'normal' every year. Dr. Goel's advanced panel told a completely different story — elevated fasting insulin, critically low Vitamin D, subclinical hypothyroidism, and high hs-CRP. Without those findings, I was on a collision course with diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Early intervention changed everything."

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about what makes our screenings different — and what to expect.

Our comprehensive screening includes a 60-minute health history consultation, a 40+ biomarker lab panel (metabolic, hormonal, cardiovascular, inflammatory, and nutrient markers), a one-on-one results review with Dr. Goel, and a personalized prevention roadmap. Depending on the package, it may also include cancer screening coordination and specialist referrals.

A standard annual physical typically checks 8–10 basic markers and lasts 15 minutes. Our advanced screening tests 40+ biomarkers including fasting insulin, advanced lipids (apoB, Lp(a)), thyroid antibodies, inflammatory markers, and hormone levels that standard physicals never touch. Dr. Goel personally reviews your results in a dedicated session — not a 2-line portal message.

We recommend a comprehensive screening annually for most women. If abnormalities are found or you're actively optimizing a health concern, follow-up panels every 3–6 months may be recommended. Women over 40, those with a family history of heart disease or cancer, or those experiencing hormonal changes should consider more frequent monitoring.

We are a direct-pay practice, which means our consultation fees are not billed to insurance. However, many of our lab panels can be submitted to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We provide detailed superbills and itemized receipts. Some patients also use HSA/FSA funds to cover the cost of screenings.

Yes. Your health history consultation and results review can be done via secure video visit from anywhere in the country. Lab draws can be done at a local Quest or Labcorp, or through a mobile phlebotomy service that comes to your home or office. Many of our screening patients are fully remote.

We recommend advanced screenings starting at age 30, or earlier if you have a family history of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, or autoimmune conditions. Many conditions that appear in your 50s and 60s have detectable markers in your 30s. Early baseline testing allows us to track trends over decades — the most powerful tool in preventive medicine.

The initial health history consultation is 60 minutes. The lab draw itself takes about 15–20 minutes. Your results review appointment is a separate 30–45 minute session with Dr. Goel, typically scheduled 7–10 days after your labs are drawn. In total, plan for about 2 hours spread across two visits.

If we identify abnormal findings, Dr. Goel discusses them with you in detail during your results review. Depending on the finding, we may recommend additional testing, lifestyle interventions, supplement protocols, medication, or referral to a specialist. Many conditions caught early can be managed or reversed with targeted intervention — that's the entire point of advanced screening.
