Epithalon
Tetrapeptide · Telomerase Activator · Longevity GeroprotectorEpithalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is a synthetic tetrapeptide derived from the pineal gland's natural polypeptide extract, epithalamin. Discovered by Professor Vladimir Khavinson, it has been studied for over 35 years across extensive animal and human clinical trials. Epithalon is the only known peptide demonstrated to activate telomerase and directly elongate telomeres in human cells — extending cellular lifespan beyond the Hayflick limit.
- Activates telomerase — elongates telomeres to extend cellular lifespan
- Reverses heterochromatinization — restores youthful chromatin plasticity
- Upregulates Nrf2 antioxidant enzymes (SOD, catalase, NQO1)
- Restores circadian rhythm and increases melatonin production by 160%
- Rebalances T-cell ratios and improves neuroimmune integration
- Reduces aging biomarkers: p16, p21, ROS levels in stem cells
- Demonstrated cancer risk reduction in HER-2/neu and colon models
